KCHS is a private, coeducational, specialized College. It situated at Mugumu- the administrative seat of Serengeti District in Mara Region of Tanzania. It is about 40 Km from the World Heritage Ecosystem of the Serengeti National Park rich with diverse Flora and Fauna. The College was created as part of the long-term strategy of NDDH as a District Designated Service and Teaching Hospital through the expansion of the Nursing and Midwifery Training Centre in October 1998.
So far, it offers Certificate and Diploma study levels in Nursing, Clinical Medicine and Community Health.
Following its accreditation by the National Council for Technical Education in 2012, the College was allowed to conduct more other Health Professional Courses such as Clinical Medicine and Community Health. It is now capable of accommodating about 250 Students (in campus) from all geographical and faith backgrounds.
The College is registered by the National Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children and the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Tanzania.
